Chet Marcus

While he exercises robust stewardship of the key 77th RRC
Public Affairs functions, he continuously seeks out and helps develop
highly creative communications programs and products that present the
Army's perspective to a widely diverse audience.
While Mr. Marcus manages a myriad of community relation's function for the
77th RRC, he actively supports OCPA-NY outreach initiatives as well. Some
of his more notable efforts include:

small office operation - sensing the mood, analyzing trends, and
recommending bold new ways to positively influence the perceptions of
those largely responsible for molding national public opinion.
In this capacity, he conducts liaison with Total Army PA practitioners and
commanders; advises senior military members; local, state, regional
government officials; business and industry leaders; and veterans'
organizations on the Department of the Army mission. He also:

developing
attainable near and long-term goals that best support the overall mission.
• Aggressively seeks out ways, with SAPA-NY support, to enhance PA
effectiveness and return on investment.
• Continues to enhance the Army's working relationships with print,
broadcast and national publishing organizations.
• Builds on his strong working relationship with the Civilian Aide to the
Secretary of the Army to enhance community awareness of the Army through
creative liaison with key people in New York.
• Continues to build creative alliances with active Army, National Guard
and other Armed Forces PA practitioners in the region to maximize
recruiting and retention opportunities.
• Builds on the strong working relationships he has with "Friends of the
Army" - including AUSA, West Point Society, Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum,
and dozens of New York veterans organizations.
As a statement of his character, Mr. Marcus radiates self-confidence, a
zest for teamwork and selfless service. He is a catalyst for success -
commanding the respect of others earned through credibility and
communication savvy. Mr. Marcus elicits a sense of duty, purpose and
camaraderie amongst his peers and excels in enhancing his performance
through devoted commitment to serving New York City. He devours new ideas
and approaches, originates constructive solutions despite limited
resources, and creates unique value as a one-man communications instrument
- orchestrating solid achievements with lasting results for the Total
Army.
