Career Objectives: To effectively plan multi-media presentations as the Civilian Public Affairs Officer assigned to the United States Army’s 77th Regional Support Command, Ft. Tollen, New York; As founder and spokesman for Southwest Asia Veterans, will advance strategic organizational development goals of this uniquely qualified group to provide a needed voice and first-hand views regarding the USA continued war on terrorism while gaining access to requisite support resources needed to live productive lives whether in America or servicing this country overseas.

Professional Experience:
Army Civilian Public Affairs Officer assigned the past 11 years to the US Army 77th Regional Support Command, Ft. Totten, NY under the supervision of Lt. Col Bernard Zoller. Public Affairs Supervisor, Public Relations Administrator, Community Relations Coordinator.

Public Affairs enlisted Non- Commissioned Officer for the Army Reserves highest military rank held; Sgt. Major (46Z) with the 361st Press Camp HQ at Ft. Totten, New York, 1991 to present. Comprehensive multi-media training regime covering latest print and video production techniques (See awards).

As Community Relation’s Coordinator, I have responsibilities for support to area television media which requires maximum integration of computer automation to maximize output in all areas of mass communication. Responsible for digital equipment procurement and program implementation in accordance to applicable Department of Defense (DOD) standards and policies related to information operations and public affairs. I prepare training schedules, presentation briefings, and work plans, including status reports and advice to the command regarding public affairs positions and to assure adherence to the Army public affairs policy.

Command’s Media and Community Relations’ Officer responsible for daily administration of public affairs efforts targeted to inform and educate the general public on the history and importance of the 77th to the community. Supervise and or produce all 77th external, electronic media products and maintain a well working relationship with all major media outlets and the Office, Chief of Public Affairs, New York. Significant contact with national, regional and local media, such as, New York Times, Associated Press, CNN, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, and numerous television news rooms, and military trade magazines. As spokesperson, has been on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to media interest in incidents, mishaps, violent crime, hazardous material spills and issues affecting Army community relations. Consultant for Army Public Affairs Marketing Plans in New York City for Military Salute Events and Army celebrations facilitating stories on Good Morning America, the CBS Morning Show, and NBC Today Show. Also, coordinate media release information to AP, NY Post, The Daily News, and all local New York City television news outlets. I have a proven track record for placing stories using state-of the industry technologies.

Three years prior to my 1990 Desert Storm deployment, I worked as NY Area Sales Representative for Digi Matex Automated Scale Company, a division of Digi Scales, Japan, selling computerized bar code and inventory control digital systems to industrial clients.
